Mr Average - swinging suburbia cd - £6
Mr Average, aka Steve Lindsey, released his new Swinging Suburbia album on CD in September and it is now available for you to buy here on-line, with an insert signed by our favourite bass player himself.
As Avo told deafschoolmusic.com: "Ian Ritchie played on a total of three tracks and there is a track with Bette and Max Ripple, Rain Song, that was great fun to do. They're all sounding better than ever! I think we captured a bit of magic! Max’s piano and accordion playing is brilliant and Bette’s vocal really makes it come alive." Avo sang another track, Semi-Detached, at the Everyman in September.
The 11-track album, published by Avo's own ElevateMusic label, features a number of songs which he started to compose in the first Deaf School heyday and comes with an autographed leaflet telling you about each song.
